Nothing new here.
I'm a hair growing machine.
I think I might actually stop here, and start trimming to get it in better shape.
I love these! But they took forever!
Used green and black sharpie for the lines/seeds.
They cured well under the LED lamp.
Tie Dye Nails: Method, Products Used, Pics
Why not expand my hair blog into a beauty blog?
Yes, I think that's a great idea
Polish Type: Shellac
Lamp: LED Gelish Mini 45
Polish Names: SensatioNail "Beat the Heat," SensatioNail "Bombshell Beauty," Gelish Mini "Shake it til You Samba"
Begin with yellow base, fully cured with top coat.
Use colors in order of which will show up best on top (i.e. don't use the yellow last, I went yellow, green, hot pink).
After the yellow is cured, apply the teal paint over the nail. Does not have to be perfect.
Dab a q-tip in Acetone polish, and dab it in the center of the nail, over the teal polish.
Utilize the dry end of the q-tip to carefully removes lines, dots, dabs, of the teal polish.
When finished, cure the teal nail polish. Apply a layer of top coat, and cure.
For the hot pink, you can either use the same method as the teal, or you can be more strategic with how you paint it on. For these, I painted swervy lines on purpose and then cleaned them up with the q-tip method. Apply top coat, and you're done!
This can be done with non-shellac paint as well. I prefer shellac because it dries prettier. Follow the same method, without a curing lamp.
July Hair (1.5 yrs)
Here's my hair after 1.5 yrs of the LHC methods. I have lightened it and trimmed a fringe, which I previously updated about. The condition of it, since lightening, has been different. It is a little damaged, but doesn't look gross. If anything it has simply changed texture, which I'm fond of.
I keep thinking about getting a cut, but I want to make it to the 2 year mark before making that decision. I'm starting to get attached to it
I've been going through a quarter life crisis and reinventing myself. Haven't changed up my hair in awhile, so I lightened it and got some rock star bangs. To go with my brand new rock star wardrobe.
I feel better Never really had bangs this short before, but this is what my hair looked like after it air dried, didn't even have to touch it.
I could definitely be the face of androgynous folk music if I gave it a shot.
